David Suchet is still brilliant & no one else could ever play Poirot as well as he does. This may be due to the need to stick to the Agatha Christie plots, & books as they were written, but the supporting actors and actresses in the new roles are not always as memorable. The stories & plots are excelent, the mystery of the Blue train benefited from the celebrity guest star, but, often this is not enough to make up for the loss of Both the Affable Hastings, and Inspector Japp from the series. These episodes are affordable in the Boxed set form. It contains the rarest & MOST RECENT episodes of the Poirot series with David Suchet.
